Leni Acosta Knight is an international artist based in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Earlier in her life, she withdrew from an art scholarship and spent over half of her lifetime traveling the world and working in public relations, management, and marketing of international projects involving real estate, commodities, and multimedia design. In 2016, she returned to her true passion of creating fine art and has been a full-time artist since then.
Her thought-provoking artwork is predominantly inspired by her love of philosophy, science, mythology, and poetry. She combines classical realism and abstract expressionism and specializes in painting with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, as well as drawing with graphite and charcoal. Like a symbolist poet, her work can evoke powerful emotions from relatable real-life stories told through her canvas. As a breast cancer survivor and an advocate against domestic and sexual violence, she dedicates her work to helping worthwhile humanitarian projects and donates a substantial portion of her sales to organizations supporting such causes.
Her work has been featured in numerous art exhibitions, including events at the Honolulu Museum of Art in Hawaii, USA; the International Contemporary Digital Art Exhibition presented by M.A.D.S Milano Gallery in Milan, Italy; the World of Crete Contemporary Art Exhibition in Crete, Greece; and the Paris International Contemporary Arts Trade Show in Paris, France. Her NFT art pieces were minted and launched for the very first time on October 10, 2022, at the inaugural celebration of the WEB3 Live Expo. She is also represented by Van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid, Spain.
